Move Over, Potato Chips


Welcome to fall! With all those orchard apples you’ve picked, why not stray away from traditional apple pie or apple crisp and make apple chips? It’s a minimal recipe that maximizes taste by baking the apple slices to bring out their natural flavor. So when you’re in need of a snack, look no further but to these healthy “chips”.  I made these yesterday for the first time since last winter, and after baking these and leaving the chips to cool, I left for a post-studying run. I came home to find that my mom had eaten the half the chips! The half empty plate speaks for itself. The Apple Chips are “I-can’t-stop-eating-these” good.
