Blueberry, Pomegranate & Lemon Water

One of my new Bostonian roommates, Perin, has this really neat infusing pitcher (found here). You put whatever you want in the middle and it seeps into the surrounding water; it’s so tasty and refreshing. Inspired by her new pitcher, here’s another really easy way to fill your water bottle before work, a run, the gym, and have a simple, deliciously different refreshment for the day: Blueberry, Pomegranate & Lemon Water. Can’t wait to go buy some ginger, cucumbers, melon, mint . . . Let the experimenting begin!

Naturally Refreshing Hydration


I needed some new hydration ideas. Seltzer, tea and plain water were no longer doing the trick. I started adding fruit, herbs, and really anything to a glass. You can even make this ahead of time in a pitcher to allow the flavors to fully sink in. Starting from the top and moving clockwise, here’s the Naturally Flavored Waters I made:

  • Cucumber Melon (my favorite!)
  • Strawberry Basil
  • Mint Clementine

Mix and match. There’s really no wrong combination. (If you don’t want the herbs or “pieces” floating in your drink, try freezing them in an ice cube tray like I did here.)  I’ve added more ideas and combinations below. I wanted to give a Rosemary Grapefruit water a try, but of course I forgot to buy rosemary. Take a sip and stay hydrated naturally with a hint of flavors.
